Neoguri ramen

Korean Udon type noodle

Neoguri is Korean ramen. There are two kinds of neoguri.
one is spicy seafood flavor, other one is mild flavor.
if you don't like spicy, I recommend you mild one :)

the differece of neoguri with other ramens is that neoguri's noodle is thicker.
and there are seaweeds in the vegetable mix.
So, you can feel taste of sea!
it means its taste is someting deeper and .... a...um..
how can I tell you that taste!
have you ever eaten soup with sea products like crab, shrimp, or seaweed.
that soup is kind of different with other soup, isn't it?
you can feel that, hahah

it contains noodle, soup base, vegetable mix and sea tangle
the black one in the picture is sea tangel.
don't worry it is edible :)
it makes soup something taste of ocean.

                              <Recipe>
1.boil with 3cup of water (550mL)
2. put in noodles and other ingredients (soup base & vegetable mix)
3. continue to boil for 4~5minutes before eating

chocopie : Korean pie

If I choose one among Korean pies, I will choose chocopie.
In Korea, there are many chocopie brand,
Orion chocopie, Lotte chocopie, Crown chocopie, and Haitai chocopie.
Like this, chocopie is very popular in Korea, especially to a military man.

(from left up, Haitai, Crown, Orion, Lotte)

every Korean man age 20 to 33(?)  have to accomplish military service for 2years.
At the first a month, they get a basis mailiary training and can't eat a snack which they want.
only time to get a snack is when they go to church or other religious activities on sunday.
and they receive a chocopie there after worship!
that chocopie is not just chocopie, it is blessing from God!
They can conquer the hard traning while intaking sweet!

(Orion chocopie from begining to now)

When Chocopie was born?
In 1974, Orion company developed chocopie primally.
and time goes by it changed its appearance but its taste is the same!

It is really delicious,
Marshmallow perfectly harmonize with pastry surrounded chocolate.

I will tell you tips how to enjoy chocopie more deliciously :)

1. eat with mlik ( match well with coffee either!)
2. freeze chocopie and then eat.
3. place in microwave for 30sec and eat.

last one, go to military and get a chocopie on sunday and eat! ahaha

Do you know shrimp cracker?

Today, I want to introduce a famous Korean cracker.
It is...

 Nogshim shrimp cracker.
Korean name: se woo kang

(Korean version of prawn cracker)

In 1971, Nongshim, snack company, released shrimp cracker.
Since its release, it has become a popular snack of Korean
because of its convenience to eat and savory taste!
Of course, children like it, also young people and grandpas do,
even bird!

don't you believe that bird likes it??
see next picture : )

See?!  How delicious it is,  a seagull also love it! haha
if people hold shrimp cracker up on a boat like the picture, a seagull fly and snatch it away.
you can see that scene easily in the Korea. : )

I was surprised when I saw Oishi prawn crackers
because it looks the same as Nongshim shrimp cracker.
Those prawn crackers are almost same...
but, those tastes are different.
to me, Oishi prawn crackers are more salty than Nongshim shrimp cracker.
so, I like Nongshim one. : )
anyway, both are available at SM supermarket, Robinson,
and somewhere in the philppines :p

Lastly, I want to show cute tv commercial!

soooooooo cute, diba?

Melona, best ice cream in Korea

This is melona Ice cream. you know, since its release in 1992, it has been loved by Korean.
and from few year ago, it is available in the philippines!  its flavor is melon, do you want to ask me why it looks green, not yellow? because the melon impored to Korea is green!. when I tasted it, I can feel real melon. And the reason why I like it is that melona is bigger than others.

There are some kinds of melona, flavor in melon, strawberry, banana and now available mango.
but, above all, I think original is best, hahaha.
why don't you try it?!
